When the second coil went bad in my 328i, I took it to the dealer. When the service writer asked me what was wrong I told him that my car changed its mind about being a 6 cylinder and wanted to be a 5 cylinder. He, for some reason, found this to be hilarious, probably due the fact that I was being my sarcastic self and not really happy that my car broke right before I needed to drive to South Carolina.

Bethca is a bad injector. I’ve got 2 of them sitting a few feet from me right now from my Forester. They are sensitive and clog easy. Good news is the turbo motor injectors are easy peasy.

My coworkers boyfriend just got a high mileage XT 130k, I gave him fair warning but he didn’t listen. I’ll give him less than a year before the turbo poops. I don’t think he realizes how important fresh good quality oils is for an XT.

Did those last year. And these cars don’t have leads, the coil packs sit directly on top of the plugs.
